Meet Deb Andrew

Your Wellness Retreat Host.

Deb Andrew is a mom and a grandmother who has walked her own deep healing path. She founded Living Skies Lodge in 2020 on the open prairie of southeast Saskatchewan and has built it into a place where women come to do real, lasting work on themselves.

She leads every retreat from her own home, caring for guests the way she would care for her own family. Her approach is honest and hands-on, grounded in the belief that every person, regardless of race, status, or wealth, deserves to live a life of passion, joy, and love.

Deb has studied attachment theory, choice theory, KOLBE, and other evidence-based tools and brings them together in a way that is practical and approachable. The transformation that happens here does not stop with the women who attend. It reaches into their families and the generations that follow.

There are so many curated details that made both the lodge itself and our stay extra special.  Our room was stunning and very comfortable. We loved hanging out on the back deck(lots of seating) and taking in the view of the lodges huge wood beams and the nature around us.  Very relaxing.  There are many cute shops in Carlyle that we visited and it was nice that the lodge was close to town without being too close.  We took a  drive to White Bear lake and it too was a quick, and convenient drive being located close to the lodge.  One of my favourite things about our stay, besides the calm and relaxing atmosphere, was the fact that our dog was welcome to be right at home there.
My husband and I stayed in a room for just the two of us (plus our pooch) but after getting a tour of the cabin on site we will definitely be back with our kids and other family.  Staying in the summer was great but we are already planning for a winter visit. ❤️

Our vehicle broke down just outside Carlyle and they opened their breathtaking lodge to our family while we waited for my mom to drive out and pick us up. They even welcomed our pup with the same incredible warmth. We were so endlessly thankful for the calm, beautiful space to hang out in the midst of chaos. We hope to be back and have a proper stay at your gorgeous lodge soon!

From the moment we arrived, there was this rustic, peaceful energy that just let us slow down and breathe exactly what our family needed. Our crew of 6 felt so at home, whether we were relaxing outside or just enjoying the quiet together.

Deb and Blair made the whole experience. Their hospitality wasn’t just polite it was genuine and warm, the kind that makes you feel like family instead of guests. It’s the little things, that show they truly care about the people who stay here.

We left already talking about when we’d come back. If you’re looking for a place to unplug, slow down, and just be present with the people you love, this is it. We can’t recommend Living Skies Lodge enough and we’ll absolutely be back!

We had the pleasure of staying at the Bread and Breakfast Lodge while my husband and his band, Switch, were playing in Carlyle, and it was an incredible experience. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel completely at home. The hospitality was exceptional, and every detail made our stay comfortable and welcoming. Anything we needed they went above and beyond!! It made our daughters day so much more special!! The photo's we took there were beautiful. Deb and Blair built this beautiful home with love, heart and soul!! Five stars is not enough for the rating!! I highly recommend this beautiful place for any family function!!

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a great stay at Living Skies Lodge. The evergreen room was very comfy and perfect for us. The whole house is a beautiful log cabin with modern amenities and styling. I especially enjoyed the kitchenette area where I could sit and have my morning coffee. We also enjoyed just sitting on the deck and soaking in the sun.
We had brought our dog with us and we felt that he was just as welcome as us. There's a really nice pasture area just past the trees where we could take him for a walk and get him some good exercise.
It was a wonderful stay and I would absolutely recommend Living Skies Lodge!
